The Education Research Alliance for New Orleans at Tulane University invites applications for a postdoctoral Research Fellow to begin in fall 2020. The successful candidate will conduct and publish original quantitative research in partnership with New Orleans Public Schools, the New Orleans Early Education Network, and our community advisory board. Research topics include teacher labor markets, K-12 education reform, school climate, parent choice, and early childhood education, among others. Projects will include both descriptive reports produced for partners and academic papers for journal submission.
We invite applications from candidates who will receive a Ph.D. in education, sociology, economics, psychology, or a related field by fall 2020.
Two-thirds of the successful candidate’s time will focus on partnership studies co-authored with other research team members involving the above topics and one-third is available for other research of the candidate’s choosing. The appointment is for two years.
