The Association for Education Finance & Policy will host a series of networking events throughout the fall and spring. In an attempt to foster meaningful connections, we have organized sessions based on topical area.
Dear members of our AEFP community,
We bear witness to the devastation and the frustration borne out of the deep and persistent racism that is part of the fabric of our society. AEFP stands with our colleagues of color and the entire African-American community, mourning George Floyd and too many others who have been murdered by the hands of racist hatred and committing to challenge the long-standing patterns of institutional racism. Black Lives Matter.
As any professional organization like AEFP ages, so to do its members. Unfortunately, that means that members pass away. To provide our members with a chance to mark the passing of colleagues who we have known and valued, we are adding a passings column to the newsletter. As you can see from this newsletter, the column will include a list of members who have passed away, as well as a link to an obituary, if we have one.
The Nominations Committee seeks your suggestions for candidates for the AEFP Board of Directors in advance of the AEFP Summer Board of Directors meeting.
The AEFP by-laws were first adopted on March 14, 1976, with the last revision on March 10, 2020.
