Conference Ambassadors
The goal of the AEFP Conference Ambassadors Program is to help make the AEFP Annual Conference a positive experience for all attendees. Conference Ambassadors will play a key role in supporting AEFP leadership and staff with conference logistics and helping community members navigate the event and connect with others. Ambassadors will assist with various conference activities, such as:
- Welcoming attendees and providing on-site guidance
- Running the AEFP social media accounts during the conference
- Assisting AEFP staff with logistics and attendee engagement

Eligibility
- Must be currently enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program
- Must be an AEFP student member at the time of the conference
- Must plan to attend the full duration of the conference (March 19-21, 2026)
- Must have attended at least one AEFP conference in the past

- Reliability and flexibility in managing multiple tasks
Time Commitment
- Attend a virtual Conference Ambassadors orientation before the conference (1 hour)
- Attend a virtual webinar for new attendees before the conference (1 hour)
- Conference Ambassadors will not be new attendees, but we want new attendees to have the opportunity to “meet” Ambassadors before the conference.
- Attend the Conversation Group session at the conference (1 hour)
- Providing support to AEFP staff during the conference (4 hours)

- January 5, 2026: Application deadline
- End of January: Notification of selection
- February: Conference Ambassadors orientation (virtual)
- February or March: Pre-conference webinar for new attendees (virtual)
- March 19-21, 2026: AEFP 2026 Annual Conference (Chicago)
