Below you will find an overview of conference-related resources and opportunities for students.
Awards: AEFP seeks nominations for the Jean Flanigan Outstanding Dissertation Award. The winner will receive a monetary award and plaque presented at the conference. Nominations closed December 8, 2025.
Travel Grant: Graduate students may apply to receive a Roe L. Johns Grant. Recipients will receive funding support to help offset the cost of travel to the conference. Applications are due January 5, 2026.
Conference Ambassadors: Interested in working with AEFP leadership and staff in supporting conference logistics in Chicago? Apply to be a Conference Ambassador. Ambassadors will receive complimentary conference registration. Applications are due January 5, 2026.
Pre-Conference Webinar: First-time attendees, especially students, are encouraged to the AEFP pre-conference webinar where helpful tips will be shared. More information about the webinar, including the date and a registration link, will be shared soon.
