Board of Directors Election
Each year, AEFP holds an election in which members vote to select individuals to serve on the Board of Directors. Members choose five individuals to serve three-year terms, including three at-large representatives and two rotating positions (teacher organization, private or nonprofit, and international). Members also elect an individual who will serve a three-year leadership term: one year as President-Elect, one year as President, and one year as Past President.
The 2026 election will take place January 30 - February 16 via electronic ballot. Members with an active, paid AEFP membership will receive an email with instructions for casting their vote.
