With the incoming Administration and a reconfigured Congress, the higher education policy landscape will change dramatically. This panel will share tips and resources for effective engagement with policymakers in the coming years. We will highlight key higher education policy debates along with ways that researchers can play a role in ensuring the best evidence is used in policy development. Topics include an overview of regulatory and legislative processes, current debates, writing public comments, and producing analyses and briefs that will be useful in the policy process.
