Research Analyst II
The Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University (CEPR is a dynamic, fast-paced research organization committed to improving educational outcomes. CEPR projects use rigorous quantitative methods to answer policy-relevant questions about K-12 and postsecondary education in the United States. As a member of CEPR’s analytic team, you would be an integral part of projects that are on the cutting edge of research and improving students’ outcomes in attendance, postsecondary success, and achievement.
CEPR is currently hiring at the Research Analyst II level (qualifications described below). CEPR is located in Cambridge, MA; this position is hybrid with the analyst expected in the office three days a week. Salary starts at $72,000, depending on experience and qualifications. All CEPR positions include full benefits through Harvard University.
Research Analyst II. RA IIs are expected to process, clean, and analyze data with minimal supervision. RA IIs should have a strong understanding of econometric analyses and programming skills to develop re-usable, generalizable code for projects. Coding fluency in Stata is needed; familiarity with R is also appreciated. Strong communication skills are needed, as RA IIs will work collaboratively with CEPR, mentor junior analysts, and work directly with education agency partners. Candidates must have at least two years of related professional experience, which should include substantial independent work. The full posting is here.

Requirements |
Bachelor’s degree in public policy, economics, statistics, computer science, education policy, social science, or a related field. At least two years of related professional work experience that includes substantial independent work with STATA and/or R programming and data analysis.
