Associate or Full Professor
Position Title: Associate or Full Professor (Ed Leadership; Higher Ed Admin)
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette (UL Lafayette) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position as an Associate or Full Professor in the Educational Foundations and Leadership (EDFL) Department within the College of Education and Human Development. EDFL primarily offers graduate courses leading one to earn either a master’s or doctoral degree and offers two (2) foundational education courses being offered to pre-service educators at the undergraduate level. The Ed.D. program is the largest in the state and university, offering 4 educational concentrations for students (K-12 leadership, higher education leadership, curriculum development, and exceptional learners) with the higher education concentration being the largest enrollment. Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired.
The start date for this 9-month position (potential for summer employment as well) will be August, 2025.
Teach doctoral-level courses (face-to-face; 2/2 load) in an executive format (classes held 1 weekend/month during the semester) to Ed.D. students primarily pursuing a concentration in higher education administration; advise students; serve as dissertation chair and/or as a dissertation member on student dissertations; participate in and actively produce scholarly activity/research; and provide departmental, college, university, and professional service.
