Assistant Professor of Pre-K-12 Education Policy
The FSU Institute for Governance and Civics and the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies in the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences at Florida State University invites applications for a 9 months tenure-earning assistant-level faculty position with a focus on pre-K-12 education policy. Applications are encouraged from scholars from education, public policy and the social science disciplines engaged in a wide range of theoretical traditions, methodological approaches and content areas, with a particular interest in quantitative methods and in educational governance and finance including market-based reforms, school choice, accountability and the role of parents.

Requirements The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a robust research program in a well-defined area of scholarship with clear connections to pre-K-12 education policy. The candidate should have a publication record and a record of seeking and or securing external funding commencement with level. The candidate will be expected to teach and advise graduate students in the MA, PhD and online EDD programs and to participate in the Institute for Governance and Civics programming.
